I WEAR. I CARE.

Nachhaltige Mode von GERRY WEBER
Nachhaltige Kollektion von GERRY WEBER

GERRY WEBER is already thinking
about tomorrow, today.
We are shaping our own future.

At GERRY WEBER, we want you to be able to wear our fashion with a good conscience. Alongside flattering cuts and comfortable fits, the sustainable, fair production of our clothing is equally important to us. That’s why, with our sustainable “I WEAR. I CARE.” collection, we are committed to treating resources, people, animals and plants with respect.

You can recognise our sustainable fashion by the green “I WEAR. I CARE.” label.

Our values

Alongside GOTS-certified organic cotton, the materials used in the collection include Lenzing EcoVero™ viscose, which is obtained from the renewable raw material wood. The production of these fibres is especially gentle on resources and results in 50% less emissions and water consumption when compared to generic viscose.

Furthermore, the collection also contains recycled and upcycled materials, as well as fabrics made of linen and the cellulose fibre lyocell.

Mode-Statement zur Nachhaltigkeit

Sustainable thinking is becoming
a fashion statement

The sustainable styles live up to the high GERRY WEBER standards in terms of quality and fashion. We are working on gradually increasing the percentage of sustainable pieces we offer. Sustainability is no short-lived trend, it is an important investment in the future of our brand. Previously, it was a nice bit of added value when we used organic cotton in a fashionable top, but it was not relevant to the buying decision. Now the sustainability aspect is increasing in emotional importance. Sustainable thinking has become a fashion statement!

Sustainability English

Sustainability starts in the fibres

For the Spring/Summer Collection 2021 (March–May), we can proudly say that our GERRY WEBER styles are made of 52% sustainable materials. For TAIFUN this number is 39%, and for SAMOON already 46%.
